Aku sadar, begitu besar perbedaan antara kami. Ibarat langit dan bumi. Bukan dalam hal prinsip saja, sifat kami pun banyak bedanya. Namun setelah bergaul dengan banyak teman, berkenalan dengan banyak kawan, aku sadari akhirnya, jika dialah sahabatku.
Bolehlah dia berbeda denganku. Bolehlah prinsip kami tidak akan ketemu. Namun aku temukan sesuatu dalam dirinya. Sesuatu itu yang tidak aku temukan pada teman²ku yang lain. Seacuh-acuhnya dirinya, dia selalu punya waktu dan ruang untukku. Dibalik gayanya yang acuh, sesungguhnya dia sangat penyayang dan perhatian.
Dia laksana padang bagiku. Ketika dadaku sesak, ketika tiada yang bersahabat, aku pasti datang menemuinya. Dan kepadanya aku letakkan semua bebanku. Kubiarkan air mataku mengalir di depannya. Tiada lagi rasa malu, bahkan aku jujur sekali kepadanya. Tentang haru biru hatiku, dia tahu. Tentang hitam putih sifatku diapun tahu.
Dia siap mendengarkan aku. Dia penuhi permintaanku. Dia menempatkan dirinya dengan baik sebagai sahabatku. Karenanya... karena itu semua
Aku tidak rela jika ada yang menyakitinya. Aku berdoa semoga dia mendapatkan yang terbaik.
